Grant expands UNO’s international partnerships
The University of Nebraska at Omaha has received a $293,500 grant to strengthen and expand its international partnerships in countries including India, China, Germany and Norway.
The grant from the University of Nebraska Foundation will fund student scholarships and faculty stipends for two-week research visits, provide support for joint courses, short workshops and service learning opportunities, and support international summer research and internship programs.
In expressing appreciation for the grant, Scott Snyder, associate vice chancellor for research and creative activity, said the support enables UNO to expand its international research collaboration.
